Traditional OCTA is sensitive to choriocapillaris but not good enough to show vessels from Sattler and Haller layers. TowardPi wide-field swept source system empowers OCTA to visualize large area of retina as well as choroid. “Enface” is the simplest way to show choroid big vessels, however it’s more of “shadows” than “vessels” presented in a way of two dimensions. “Reversal” turns images to black and white reversed, so they look similar to ICGA. But actually, it’s just a simple photo processing, and all the false signal such as retina shadows remain still there. Not to mention, the image is also in 2D.

Look at the 3rd picture, “Flow”. Medium and big choroid vessels are more distinctive and vivid, with almost no mask from false shadows. Unique algorithms from TowardPi presents us an authentic world to observe choroid vessels. Plus, the dataset is in three dimensions, that allows the possibility to make quantification analysis in various methods.
