Intraocular Pine Caterpillar Setea Imaged by Full-Range SS-OCT

A fantastic case published in Ophthalmology presented a 38-year-old male with irritation and floaters after a pine caterpillar fell into his eye. Several brownish-black setea was observed in the inferonasal periphery on color fundus image. 3D scan was performed by using a full-range SS-OCT Yalkaid (TowardPi). With OCT reconstruction on the device, hair-like setea were clearly shown penetrating the sclera and lodged in the inferonasal retina.
