“Antipodes” refers to two points on opposite sides of the Earth: 12 time zones apart, opposite day and night, reversed seasons, and approximately 20,000 km along a great-circle distance.

TowardPi’s Global Business Center is located in Shanghai, China (31°N, 121°E). Its antipodal city is Concordia, Argentina (31°S, 58°W), a lovely place with 180,000 residents.

Recently, two TowardPi OCT BMizar (400 kHz speed) units have been purchased and installed consecutively in beautiful Concordia at Clínica Razzari and Instituto Oftalmológico Dr. Álvarez.

TowardPi BMizar at Clínica Razzari

“From Concordia, Argentina — nearly the farthest point on the map from China — we chose BMizar because its imaging depth, clarity, and analytical power clearly outperformed the alternatives, proving that clinical quality has no borders.” — Dr. Armando Horacio Razzari

“When evaluating new diagnostic equipment, we selected TowardPi’s BMizar as the most advanced OCTA system available at the time; although it represented a significant investment and TowardPi is a relatively new brand from China, Asia, we felt confident moving forward based on OMNI SRL’s expertise and long-standing reputation in the national OCT market.” — Dr. Héctor Eugenio Álvarez

“The delivery of orders to Earth’s antipodal point signifies that TowardPi’s devices have reached the farthest accessible distance on our planet’s surface. It marks how our equipment is now spreading across the globe.” — Dr. Jian Zhou (VP Global, TowardPi Medical)

Since its international launch just over a year ago, TowardPi’s devices have rapidly expanded into more than 40 countries, establishing a presence across all five continents.
