Precise Pediatric Cataract Surgery Guided by SS-iOCT

With reliable real-time guidance from high-resolution SS intraoperative OCT, challenging pediatric cataract surgeries were performed with high efficiency and precision using a digital navigation surgical microscope (Focean, TowardPi).

GIF 1. High-resolution SS-iOCT provided real-time visualization of posterior capsule morphology, enabling surgeons to formulate appropriate surgical strategies.

GIF 2. The tips of the capsulorhexis forceps and the posterior capsule were clearly visualized, ensuring precise posterior capsular rupture.

GIF 3. Continuous monitoring of the integrity of the anterior hyaloid membrane helped minimize surgical complication risks.

GIF 4. Precise intraocular lens (IOL) implantation.

GIF 5. Final confirmation of IOL positioning prior to concluding the procedure.
