We’re thrilled to announce that TowardPi Medical has successfully closed a ¥500 million ($70M) Series E funding round, marking the largest single investment in China's ophthalmic medical equipment primary market.

This round was led by Social Security Fund Zhongguancun Independent Innovation Fund (managed by Legend Capital), alongside Beijing Robotics Industry Development Investment Fund and Qiming Venture Partners. The funding will drive global expansion, product innovation, and advancements in high-end ophthalmic diagnostic and treatment solutions.

As a leader in China’s ophthalmic medical device sector, TowardPi is pushing the boundaries of OCT technology and high-end ophthalmic equipment, with products already making a global impact. Following this Series E financing, the company is set to pursue an IPO on the STAR Market (The Science and Technology Innovation Board), aiming to become the first publicly traded ophthalmic medical equipment firm in China.
