With wider bandwidth, Toward Pi features SS-OCT with 5 microns optical resolution, that allows sharp visualization of retinal layers, macular holes, and cystoid edemas in this case. 1060nm wavelength allows effective penetration, even beneath deep sub-retinal fluid, the posterior boundary of the choroid layer is still detectable.
