Retinal Cavernous Hemangiomas Captured with 400kHz SS-OCT/OCTA

"The combination of wide optic and swept source technology allows us to assess slow-flow moving in aneurysmal lesions and vessel alterations in wider area.”

Cyclopexy Followed Up by Full-Range SS-AS-OCT

A 58-year-old male was diagnosed with cyclodialysis and lens subluxation in his right eye. The high-resolution anterior segment OCT (AS-OCT) from 16mm x 12mm 3D AS-OCT revealed the separation of the longitudinal ciliary muscle fibers from the scleral spur (before surgery, arrow), secondary cataract and shallow anterior chamber caused by subluxation of lens. This patient underwent direct cyclopexy and IOL implantation. After surgery, the fine reattachment of the ciliary body (after surgery, arrow) and the position of IOL could be confirmed on AS-OCT.

FFA or UWF Full-Range OCTA?

A type 2 diabetic patient who was diagnosed with AMD in both eyes and BRVO (after PRP) in the left eye complained of more severe vision loss recently.  Ultra-wide-field (UWF) color fundus images revealed abnormal yellow and white lesions at the macular in both eyes (fig.1 color fundus) and panretinal laser spots in his left eye. A small area of intraretinal hemorrhage was also noticed in the superior nasal quadrant of his left eye (fig.2 color fundus).

Don't Forget to Check the Fellow Eye of BRVO with UWF OCTA

A 51-year-old male was diagnosed with BRVO (ischemia) with secondary neovascularization in his left eye. Ultra-wide-field (UWF) B-scan showed vitreous opacity and several epiretinal hyperreflective signals in his left eye (fig.1 B-scan).

Choroidal Osteoma (Sattler's layer), OCTA Single Scan

'In addition to greatly expanding the scope of OCTA, TowardPi full-range SS-OCT system also realizes blood flow imaging at the choroid level, which further expands the width and depth of observation and diagnosis for ophthalmologists!' Image captured by a 400kHz speed SS-OCTA (BMizar, BM-400K, TowardPi Medical).

Starry Night Detected with UWF Full-range Swept-source OCTA

A 73-year-old female was diagnosed with Asteroid Hyalosis in both eyes with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy. From high-resolution B-scan images, dense hyperreflective dots in the vitreous cavity can be seen clearly within 6 mm scan depth just like a beautiful starry night (fig1 top. more severe in right eye). The 3D reconstruction revealed the marvelous real structure of the degenerative vitreous and its position in the retina (fig1 bottom).

Normal Tension Glaucoma (RNFL en face), OCTA Single Scan

'TowardPi full range SS-OCT not only provides ophthalmologists with new exploration ideas in terms of fundus disease and anterior segment, but also in glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology!' Image captured by a 400kHz speed SS-OCTA (BMizar, BM-400K, TOwardPi Medical).

Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy, OCTA Single Scan

'TowardPi OCTA completes high-definition wide-area blood flow imaging with the fastest speed at present, which further makes the diagnosis and treatment of fundus diseases more accurate.' Image captured by a 400kHz speed SS-OCTA (BMizar, BM-400K, TowardPi Medical). Golden Signature Series. Choroidal Hemangioma Revealed by UWF Full-range SS-OCTA

Choroidal hemangioma was revealed by UWF full-range SS-OCTA in a 65-year-old male who complained of vision loss for 2 months. Fundus color imaging showed an irregular white and orange oval lesion in his right posterior pole. FFA (Fig. 1 AC) and ICGA (Fig. 1 BD) displayed a large hyperfluorescent area with several leaking spots corresponding to the lesion.
