(Summary description)Choroidal hemangioma was revealed by UWF full-range SS-OCTA in a 65-year-old male who complained of vision loss for 2 months. Fundus color imaging showed an irregular white and orange oval lesion in his right posterior pole. FFA (Fig. 1 AC) and ICGA (Fig. 1 BD) displayed a large hyperfluorescent area with several leaking spots corresponding to the lesion.

Choroidal hemangioma was revealed by UWF full-range SS-OCTA in a 65-year-old male who complained of vision loss for 2 months. Fundus color imaging showed an irregular white and orange oval lesion in his right posterior pole. FFA (Fig. 1 AC) and ICGA (Fig. 1 BD) displayed a large hyperfluorescent area with several leaking spots corresponding to the lesion.
UWF high-resolution B-scans (Fig. 2) clearly depicted the large choroidal mass with small PED, SRF, and inferior retinal detachment.
UWF full-range OCTA revealed abnormal choroidal vessels in the large middle choroidal vessel layer (Fig. 3, yellow circle) with feeding vessels at the center of the choroidal mass (Fig. 3, red square).
3D-CVI (Fig. 3, right) illustrated hyperperfusion in the lesion corresponding to the position of feeding vessels. Choroidal hemangioma was considered the diagnosis.
A 400 kHz speed full-range swept-source OCTA (BMizar, from TowardPi Medical) was utilized in this case. Precise segmentation for all slabs, including the choroid, and choroidal OCTA algorithm provided UWF full-range OCTA images for the large middle choroidal vessel layer. Choroidal blood flow quantification parameters, such as 3D-CVI, are available for all sizes.
