The "Tianshan Forum, the Light of Dedication" Xinjiang Ophthalmology High-Quality Development Forum and Xinjiang-Shanghai Ophthalmology Academic Summit Forum were grandly held in Urumqi, at the foot of Tianshan Mountain from June 1 to 3. The conference was jointly organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and the Affiliated Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University. The conference brought together more than 30 experts from all over the country and more than 300 doctors from various counties and cities in Xinjiang to participate in the event.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University was founded in 1956. It is a large, comprehensive, modern hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. It is one of the largest "Grade 3 Class A General Hospitals" in the autonomous region. On June 2, during the conference, Tupai Medical and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University held a ceremony to unveil the "Tupai Full-Range OCTA Clinical Training Base". The chairman of the conference, Professor Yi Xianglong, director of the Department of Ophthalmology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, and Mr. Yao Yupeng, marketing director of Tupai Medical, attended the unveiling ceremony. The Tupai Full-Range OCTA Clinical Training Base has officially settled in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, which will help improve the hospital's ophthalmic diagnosis and treatment technology and better serve patients with eye diseases in Xinjiang.

Professor Yi Xianglong spoke at the unveiling ceremony. He experienced that Tupai's 400,000-times full-domain scan OCT Beiming Kun is excellent in terms of scanning speed, scanning width and scanning depth. It can bring a lot of help to doctors and patients in clinical applications. It can replace a large part of angiography and is safe and non-invasive. In addition, Tupai's blood flow OCT software is very rich in functions, and the R&D team can improve the ideas proposed by doctors in a timely manner. This is also Tupai's biggest advantage, and it can provide more clinical and scientific research value for everyone. I hope to cooperate with Tupai Company in the future to build a good clinical training center, accumulate experience, make good use of excellent domestic equipment, and promote it to all parts of Xinjiang to benefit more patients in Xinjiang, and at the same time do a good job in exchanges and learning with brother units.

In the fundus disease session of the conference, Professor Wang Min from the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University shared the "Clinical Application of Ultra-Wide Angle SSOCT/OCTA" in the form of remote live broadcast. He thoroughly analyzed the differences between Tupai's 400,000-times full-domain sweep OCT Beiming Kun and other OCTs in terms of the speed, depth, breadth, resolution and software functions of OCT scanning, and fully affirmed the advantages of Tupai's 400,000-times full-domain sweep OCT in fundus examination. At the same time, he also listed the application of ultra-wide angle OCTA in guiding laser treatment in clinical practice and the scientific research application of Tupai Beiming Kun's unique choroidal blood flow quantification function in choroidal diseases.

The OCT special session first invited Professor Fan Xiaojuan from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University to share "Updates on Diabetic Retinopathy Assessment and Treatment". Professor Fan Xiaojuan fully affirmed the advantages of Tupai's 400,000 times/second ultra-wide-angle OCTA in diabetic retinopathy screening and treatment by interpreting the clinical diagnosis and treatment guidelines for diabetic retinopathy and sharing cases encountered in daily diagnosis and treatment.

Secondly, Director Hou Lihua of Xianyang First People's Hospital shared "Retinal Histology and OCT Imaging" in combination with retinal histology at the meeting. He shared in detail that Tupai's 400,000 times/second full-range scanning OCT imaging has high accuracy and good detail display. The OCT images correspond and are comparable to tissue sections. The various exquisite OCT pictures in the courseware attracted the attention of the audience.

In addition, Professor Zhang Mingmei from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University was invited to share "The Diagnostic and Follow-up Advantages of OCTA in Retinal Vascular Diseases" in the OCT special session. Professor Zhang comprehensively analyzed the advantages of Tupai's full-range scanning OCTA in clinical diagnosis and follow-up management through various common clinical cases of retinal vascular diseases.

On June 3, in order to better understand Tupai's full-range sweep OCT, Tupai's clinical engineer shared in detail "Tupai's full-range sweep OCTA operation and image reading introduction" at the conference, directly projecting the OCT device onto a large screen, operating it on site, interacting in real time, and elaborating on the operation skills of Tupai's full-range sweep OCT/OCTA, the functions of each scanning mode, and the application of various quantitative analysis functions of the software. Many doctors at the scene rushed to experience it, operate it on the machine, and feel the powerful functions of ultra-wide-angle OCTA.
